Filip Fortunat Kurzewski.

Born in Warsaw.
In the years 1987-1996 his child`s drawings were the designs to his mother`s unique tapestries (Jolanta Pachowska - a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, (a state university of visual and applied arts). These works were exibited, inter alia in Poland, Austria, Finland, Germany and in many cities in the USA, where they were published by numerous prestigious magazines among others the magazine "Fiberarts".
A secondary school certificate in the Jerzy Grotowski Grammar School (High School) No 21 in Warsaw (which was so-called a social school, not a state school) with humanistic and management and artistic specialization.
Next he began his studies at the Architecture Department at Warsaw University of Technology. Since then he has also worked as an assistant/teacher at one of the better courses of architectural drawing in Warsaw - "Labirynt" (Labyrinth) He has been participant of architectural and drawing plain-air courses organized by WAPW (Architecture Department at Warsaw University of Technology) (Lvov, and East Borderland 2004, Paris 2004, Prague 2005, Budapest 2005, Prague 2006, Toruń 2007, Vienna 2007, Toruń 2009, Lower Silesia 2009, Brno 2010, Lower Silesia 2010, Toruń 2010, Toruń 2011). Each of them had an exhibition at the end.
He is the author of fantasy and science fiction illustrations edited in the albums "Dragons",
and "Alien". In 2006 he studied at the Architecture Department at University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan, the USA. During his stay in the USA he had an opportunity of becoming acquainted with the American architecture on a larger scale.
After return he underwent training in the architectural office (studio) "Pro-Idea".
Next he began one-year individual sculpture training in Prof. Adam Myjak`s studio (Adam Myjak is a professor of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw).
At the same time he participated in the lectures organized by FTA (the Foundation of Architecture Creators) and he took part in the architectural tour in Japan organized by this foundation.
After going through the sculpture training he received the title of an architectural engineer at Warsaw University of Technology under Dr Radosław Achramowicz`s guidance in 2008.
Next he worked designing the interior in the office "JOL-wnętrza" and had the training in the office "JEMS-Architects". In 2009 together with the group of architects from the studio "Marek Rytych Architekt" (Marek Rytych, Krzysztof Kryska, Maciej Podlewski, Małgorzta Piotrowska, Karol Pasternak and Radosław Tabor) he participated in the prestigious competition for the form of linking two continents (Asia and North America) with the Bering Strait. From among over 700 offices (studios) from the whole of world, which accepted the competition requirements the Polish team was awarded the third prize.
The competition entitled "Interconnection and Communication with the Islands of Today and Tomorrow" was under the auspices of UIA (the International Union of Architects) and the Foundation of Peace and Unification (FPU). The competition was the most prestigious visionary and architectural competition of the world in 2009.
In 2009 at the invitation of the "Kamienica" Theatre the exhibition of his works "Teatr Architektury" (The Theatre of Architecture) took place.
In 2010 at the invitation of the organizers he represented painting and drawing at the "multi-arts" festival in Ostromecko.
In 2011 he successfully completed a degree course at Warsaw University of Technology taking his Master Engineer of Architecture. His promoter: Professor Ewa Kuryłowicz.
Currently he deals with creative activity, he designs the architectural conceptions and in cooperation with Jolanta Pachowska-Kurzewska he goes for interior design.
